Ford Fair 2008 Event Photo Gallery

Europes largest Ford gathering took place once again at Silverstone Race Circuit on Sunday 3rd of August 2008. As is usually the case for Ford Fair, it was a sunny day with a fair few of the (nearly) 17000 visitors going home slightly sunburnt.

As well as the huge number of owners club stands, there were plenty of modern, retro and classic blue ovals thrashing around the circuit as well as Silverstone's own Lotus Exiges taking visitors out for passenger laps. Other attractions included 0-60 sprints, a rolling road shootout, some drifting and a Parade of Ford Escorts to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the models release.

Our personal favourite car on display was L400FMC, a Escort Cosworth Monte in Mobil livery, a replica of a car rallied by Francois Delecour.

Other Fords

As well as the Mk1 and 2 Fiestas, a great range of other Fords were on display including a Tickford Capri, a Thundersaloon kitted Sierra Pickup, a RS200 and a Datapost liveried RS1600i.
