Below: In February 2021, the car was advertised for sale on the retrorides website for £895. The car was in partially repaired state. The advert read as follows:

MK2 Ford Fiesta 1.1 firefly 1989.
Bad points - Unused for several years, bonnet very rusty, exhaust system missing, I have not tried to start the engine as I was going to replace it, turns over ok, small dent to n/s wing, rust lower o/s wing, brakes will need attention, paint work faded. Good points New sills fitted, floors solid, New inner wing repair panels fitted to both sides, boot floor repaired. Interior in excellent condition including carpets , door cards, dash, head lining etc. Car seems to have some XR2 /GHIA features like, front bumper, dashboard, roof clock, sun roof. The car is over 30 years old and requires work but a good project.
