Cornholio's Mk2 Fiesta XR2

Cornholio bought this Black XR2 back in 1995 as a total wreck and set about fixing it. The front end was hanging off so he replaced the slam panel, outer wings and bonnet with new items. The doors and tailgate were also in a bad way so he bought some popular plus ones as they were cheap.

The car was driven up to 2002 when the bottom end failed at which point it was replaced with one from a XR2i. In 2003 It was upgraded to Monroe dampers and Spax springs bought off Ebay, in fact half of the parts fitted to it were bought off there, he continued to use the car up to 2004 when it came off the road again to replace the floor, the boot, the chassis legs and the rear wheel arches, while this was done Cornholio decided to ditch the interior and buy some bucket seats. He then had an old set of pepperpot alloys refurbed by Lepsons, they finished them with a diamond cut face, the car handles fantastically on the 13” wheels.

Cornholio's future plans are to fit a roll cage and front and rear strut braces, and maybe fit something with a little more poke under the bonnet as well.
