The Fiesta register is a enthusiast-based project to record all retro/classic Ford Fiestas that were manufactured between 1976 and 1989. It is open to all Mk1 and Mk2 Ford Fiestas regardless of country, if your Fiesta is registered in a territory where the license plate doesnt usually stay with the vehicle for life, please use your VIN number to add the car to our list. Q. What is the register?
A. The register is an enthusiast maintained database of known Mk1 (1976-83) and Mk2 (1983-89) Fiesta car registrations and/or VIN numbers, along with info and pictures.
Q. Where does the information come from?
A. All the cars were submitted by current and former owners, and enthusiasts who've spotted them. Some of that information is confirmed by online vehicle checks.
Q. What's the point of it?
A. It's intended to be a useful resource for owners to find and share info about their cars, and give inspiration for how visitors might modify/restore their own vehicles.
Q. How accurate is the info?
A. We try to check all entries to make sure they seem broadly correct, but we rely on those submitting to be as accurate as they can.
Q. Will the list ever be complete?
A. No, Ford manufactured several million Fiestas, so we'll never have a full list of all those made. At the moment we have 6823 cars listed, mainly from the UK.
Q. I found a mistake in the register, how can I get it corrected?
Q. How long does it take for information to get approved?
A. It varies, this is a hobby website so please bear with us, we get a lot of spam entries so all submissions have to be manually approved.
