For sale 1983 MK1 Ford Fiesta Popular, 1100cc (957cc on logbook). Selling due to having more projects and not enough time. Owned car since 2010 at which point it had a light restoration due to it being off the road for an unknown period of time. Front of wings were repaired, hole in bulkhead welded, partial respray up to the roof line was done, MK2 XR2 interior was fitted as was a 30 mm lowering kit, spax front shocks 1100cc engine, chrome bumpers and XR2 Pepperpot wheels.Car did me well for 2 years of driving. Bad points:Car has general age related dents in various places, worst one being on the NS rear quarterScuttle panel is starting to rot out, see pictures!Wings will want repairing again soonThere is a hole in the boot floorEngine will want a service Welding has been carried out in various places on the underside of carPaint on the NSR quarter/ OSF wing is suffering badly in a couple of patches, see picturesInterior is getting tatty, door cards need replacing urgently Front bumper rubber strip is losing it's shapeTo be honest it's a 31 year old Ford that has been used pretty much daily for most of it's life, now showing 103000 miles on the odometer. It's got MOT until May of 2015 so could be driven away from here if insured and taxed. Car will definitely benefit from at the least a light restoration to make it look good again, as the respray in 2010 was only a quick one to smarten it up. This could be made into a very nice example if someone has the will to do so, as these cars are only getting rarer!Collection welcome from Wadhurst, East Sussex.
